I'm Ryder Ross. I've been building software for 25 years — agencies, startups as CTO, research labs, large platforms. Long before AI rewired the craft of coding, I was already unusually effective at the part most engineers skip: understanding the business and building only what matters. AI superpowered my skills to be unreasonably effective.

These days, the most rewarding work is with established organizations — teams with workflows held together by spreadsheets, vendors, and software that was good enough five years ago. I'm not the cheap option per hour, but one of me usually replaces several roles. That's where the real ROI shows up.
